 He who has clean hands and a pure heart Psalm 24: 3-4   I think that at this point at the bare minimum we can say that our world is entering into the period of "sorrows" that is mentioned in Mark 13:8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows.

Our country is divided. What do the scriptures say about a house divided? Satan has a plan for this world, or his kingdom, and he is advancing it very rapidly. So does God. Do not be deceived, friends, Christians need to be spiritually ready, physically ready, and mentally ready for battle. We need to be daily seeking God in prayer on our knees, repenting, being in prayer and the word. God is allowing judgement on America now. We can see it on every front- socially, economically, politically, geographically, etc.. I can go on and on but I am listing some resources for you to check out for yourself. Please, please check them out- we don't want to be ignorant of what is going on in America. Many of us want to believe that the rapture is coming soon- and it may well be coming soon, but we can't assume that God is going to take us before some things begin to happen. Some people believe that a revival is coming and this may be true but revival usually comes after persecution. Our faith is going to be tested and our country is "on the road to Babylon."   "Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." I just want to encourage Christians and admonish them that we are getting close and God wants us to watch and be ready. No One Knows the Day or Hour

36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Gods enduring love

I came across this today written from Oswald Chambers; "When we realize that Jesus Christ has served us to the end of our meanness, our selfishness, and sin, nothing that we meet with from others can exhaust our determination to serve men for His sake." This was a great reminder for me today as I am at my wits end in dealing with my children. I have one that snuck out the window, and another on her phone at three in the morning discussing her drunken exploits. This is heart wrenching for a mother who has continued to try to teach and instruct in the ways of Christ, but sometimes it seems, to no avail. I felt myself getting angry and having a feeling of distaste toward my daughters but then after reading this sentence I realized that Christ loved me at my most ugly point. Just read this great little book about change. This is how the author describes it; "cheese is a metaphor for what you want to have in life whether it is a good job, a loving relationship, money, a possession, health, or spiritual peace of mind. This is a story of four characters who live in a maze and look for the "cheese" to nourish them and make them happy."
